My Approach to Ceremony Music
A warm, intentional approach to ceremony music
Your ceremony is one of the most meaningful moments of your wedding day. The words, the atmosphere, the small pauses between breaths — it all matters. My role is to support those moments with music that feels heartfelt, contemporary, and beautifully aligned with the emotion of your vows.
I’m Katie, a pianist and vocalist based on the Mornington Peninsula.
I create acoustic music for modern wedding ceremonies — music shaped not to perform over your moment, but to gently elevate it.
Your ceremony, thoughtfully supported
From the moment you enquire, my focus is on understanding your vision — the mood, the emotion, the atmosphere you want to create.
I work closely with you to choose (or customise) songs that align with your story, your vows, and the feeling you want to hold as you walk down the aisle.
Every ceremony is different.
Every couple is different.
And your music should reflect that.
A little more about me
I’ve spent years performing and creating music that connects people. My background is rooted in contemporary vocal performance and piano, and I bring a calm, professional presence to every wedding.
I’m there to support your moment — never to take centre stage.
My philosophy
I believe ceremony music should feel effortless.
Not a performance.
Not a show.
Just a warm, thoughtful presence that brings depth, emotion and connection to your vows.
Every arrangement I create is tailored to the atmosphere you imagine — from soft, contemporary piano versions of your favourite songs to gentle vocal moments that hold space for the emotion in the room.
My style is intimate, modern, and intentionally understated.
I want your guests to feel the moment, not the musician.
A contemporary, acoustic sound
I specialise in piano and voice — an acoustic pairing that feels both timeless and modern. Whether you’re choosing music for your processional, signing, or recessional, I curate each moment to flow seamlessly with the pace and rhythm of your ceremony.
I draw from contemporary artists, romantic ballads, and stripped-back versions of modern classics.
Songs that feel personal.
Songs that feel like you.
